I loved Saul as a minor character, but agree with many above that he can't carry a show by himself. That said, I think he's a small enough character that even if the show tanks, it won't tarnish Breaking Bad.

I don't know. It's a prequel to BB, so it could be set anywhere.

My concern is that people will compare it too much to BB and then tune out if/when it isn't the same.

I do think Bob Odenkirk has the chops to carry his own show. In most cases, though, it's down to the writing and show running. Let's hope Vince has gold in his fingers a second time.
