'Science Fiction Theater' (1955-57), and 'Men Into Space' (1959). I really enjoyed watching them as a young boy.

My family didn't have television in the 1950s but I recently found both of these series on YouTube. They're great.

The name "Science Fiction Theater" sounds familiar but the other one doesn't. Guess my parents didn't watch that one.

I don't remember Men into Space. Young man just into the Navy at that time. We did not spend a lot of time watching TV..

I remember "Science Fiction Theater" very well. My sister and I never missed it. I don't remember "Men Into Space" though.

I remember them.
We lived in Huntsville, Alabama though, when Men into Space was running.
Many of our dads worked in the budding Space program. Men into Space was pretty simplistic compared to what was really going on.
A day out to the Moon, and a day back. HAH! We knew better.

Though the control room looked pretty authentic.

Thank god. A thread I can finally say ... I'm too young (barely) to remember those.

Thank you. You've made my day. My birthday's coming up ... and this helps!
