Hello,

KENS-5 use to broadcast this great little Canadian TV show. The first three seasons are on DVD. But I want to see the later episodes – but how?!

Does anyone know if this show is available on DISH Network, uverse or cable? Are the shows recorded anywhere?

Assuming you have high speed internet.
Da Vinci's Inquest - Full Episodes and Clips streaming online - Hulu (http://www.hulu.com/da-vincis-inquest - broken link)

Hulu.com is yer friend. Want more episodes, email them and they'll put them up.

I'm pretty sure they only have the first three seasons, too...

It's on Netflix, but I am not sure which seasons. I can't see it at work.

According to TVGuide it is not airing within the next 14 days, sorry if you already looked there.

I miss Matinee at the Bijoux which used to air on PBS.

Anyone know WHY they only put 3 seasons on DVD? It's shown late night here and I can't always stay up so I missed big parts of the show. I've borrowed the first 3 seasons from the library, but now I can't find the rest. What gives????

Was just so excited to even see a thread on this show, used to watch it late Sunday nights, when it would air on a local network affiliate.
Thought it was a great program, really impressive-the cast, the mood/atmospherics and music, not to mention the writing.

Haven't been able to find much of it online (wanted to watch the whole series again), still haven't been able to dig up the tv-movie they made
(once he became mayor they changed title from "DaVinci's Inquest" to "DaVinci's City Hall" for final season), called "The Quality of Life".
The Quality of Life (TV Movie 2008) - IMDb

Series/Da Vinci's Inquest - Television Tropes & Idioms
Quote:
Acorn Media (the DVD distributor of the series) has no plans to release Seasons 4 to 7...or City Hall...or The Quality of Life, on the grounds of poor sales. This is surprising, considering that DVD sets were already printed and distributed to the cast and crew right after the series finished for good, and the fact that that for most of its run, Inquest was consistently the most-watched series on Canadian television.
Quote:
Chris Haddock's choice to focus less on police work and more on the political machinations of Vancouver's City Hall alienated half of the show's core fanbase. DaVinci's City Hall went from around 850,000 viewers in its first episode to 400,000 at the end of its 13 episode run.
I see that Amazon has the first 3 seasons, but the other 4 seasons (and film) are nowhere to be found.

I agree. The acting and script is much better than any American cop show I've seen. Love seeing the actors show up on other programs. I just watched an epi of Fox's Almost Human last night with Suleka Mathew as a guest star.
