Anyone else viewed S1E1 of Raised by Wolves? It is set in current day Midlands England about a feisty single mom raising 6 kids. I'll be tracking down the 2013 pilot now...

Raised by Wolves review

Charlie Brooker seems to have had a variety of TV specials bearing his name and this weekly wipe is in season 3 but new to me. He and crew review current events in sly and biting style. I think the deadpan delivery of Philomena Cunk is genius closely followed imho by the Russell Brand parody. I'm probably catching about half of the wit/references but still having a blast. Aw rats, the 3 season/series just wrapped up. Sadness.

Don't know of the other show mentioned,
but Charlie Brooker's Weekly Wipe is on YT
(FYI, ep. 6 is a clip show culled from previous 5 episodes in the season).

I particularly liked his series "How TV Ruined Your Life".

A year later...anybody else watching either of these? Raised By Wolves is just airing S02E03 and it's as good as last year if not better.

The series "Raised By Wolves" is based on Caitlin Moran's book "How To Be A Woman" - she's a great writer - extremely witty, smart and honest!

Charlie Brooker is great - he used to have a satirical website called "TV Go Home" - which was based on the old weekly TV Guides that used to be published back in the day. It's still available online:

Charlie Brooker's "wrap-up"/overview Wipe (hour-long special) is posted on YT around Dec. 30th, I make sure to tune in each year.
