I like that show. Rickles always made "Pruitt" the tall guy the butt of his insults.

When he made fun of black people I was able to realize it was just comedy and enjoy the show as a black man.

Been re-watching "The Larry Sanders Show" (1990s cable series), and in one season 5 episode, they make reference to the topic of this thread:

Exactly.
Thread you started on it here is only way I knew what the dialog (on Larry Sanders) was about, that it had been a real show (since that program mixes fact & fiction) starring Rickles.
