Anyone else remember the horror anthology TV series Tales from the Darkside show back in the '80's?! It used to be on very late at night on Network TV. The opening sequence was creepy & iconic: "Man lives in the sunlit world of what he believes to be reality..."

It's definitely one of the better horror anthology shows I've seen, & I would consider it classic at this point. The episodes definitely ran the gamut from very disturbing/creepy to somewhat comedic.

My favorite episode would have to be the one where the guy moved into the apartment & was told by the landlady to never nail anything to the wall. Great episode, with a fantastic ending

The entire series (4 seasons) has been released on DVD.

There was also a TFTDS film released around 1990 which is also worth checking out.

Here's a link re: the series itself:

It still airs on either Sci-Fi (whatever they call themselves), or Chiller - I don't recall which.

I really liked that show! I was just a young kid when it first came out, but I remember it being creepy and at times humorous.

I liked that series, too. We have SyFy, and it definitely doesn't air on that network.
