I got a free month offer and started watching via my Roku. Couldn’t use free offer w/Amazon’s channel.
Has some excellent foreign series and movies…but more series.
I really enjoy foreign shows…at least mysteries/police type ones.
Finished S1 of SpringTide, a Swedish series just now.
Closed captions work well for timing w conversations. Set on location in Stockholm but could be any town to me. Some actors I recognized but not many…acting throughout is very good to great. The plot has 3 mysteries interwoven—4 really but you don’t know about it until right at the end…
There is S2 w some of police side characters and different murder/mystery…
Will start it tomorrow…

If you like quality programs take a weeks chance for free on Amazon
You can watch a lot of content in a week…
I might drop BritBox and keep this

I subscribed for a while last year but let it lapse. I got really into "Murder In..." which was a bunch of French tv movies set in bucolic little towns or even larger cities (but not Paris) The plots were pretty standard, but everything was set in the regional landmarks, so stuff happened in cathedrals and chateaus and beautiful scenery, which was nice.

They used to broadcast on some station in NYC for free and I watched it literally until the second they took it off the air. Then it returned as a pay station and I've had it twice for a while. Some of the shows were magnificent and a lot weren't. But the good ones were really good and I enjoyed it.
