Which show do you like best? And why?

I say Z Nation, cause they whack a lotta zombies, and that's the point of a zombie show, not touchy feely crud, too late for that, survival of the fittest and don't let your guard down, ever!

These two shows could not be more different than each other and Z Nation is supposed to be campy and cheesy.

I like them both.

So far I think I like Z Nation more, yes it's cheesy, but I really like the characters and the Murphy plot is actually quite interesting. I just started watching it a few weeks ago because I didn't think I would like it, I've been very suprised and am enjoying it a lot.
Fear the Walking Dead is also good, but so far I get little connection with any characters, but the show is really just starting so we will see.

Z Nation is more established than Fear the Walking Dead and its characters are more developed.

I like Fear the Walking Dead. I really like Z Nation last season but this one has SO much focus on Murphy running around; I don't know.

And . . what is the weird color that ZNation is filmed in? Sometimes it seems almost black and white and other times it doesn't.

Despite the slow start, I'll take Fear the Walking Dead. Z Nation is just too campy and cheaply made. Picture quality is horrible. If they pumped some money into it and had better writing then maybe but now it's just kind of lame.

Z Nation feels like a low budget, campy, horror movie written by teenagers. Normally that would be okay with me, maybe if it were just a hr and half movie, but stretched into a series just got old real fast and I never made it through the first season.

Right.

But neither Fear The Walking Dead nor The Walking Dead are 'zombie shows'. They are shows that use zombies to create the setting of an apocalyptic world in which all social and civil structure has been swept away - and how people react to the stresses of such a setting.

That's called 'drama' - or, as the simple-minded short-attention-span crowd calls it, 'touchy feely crud'...

I'd stick to Nick at Nite if I were you.

I like both for different reasons. I really like Z Nation for the action-packed fun of it and I enjoy most of the characters. I mean Zomnados and Zombears and all kinds of crazy, funny stuff that I love. Fear the Walking Dead is good but I'm not completely sold on it yet. I want to see how it develops. Some sources were writing it may only be a 13-18 episode series because it is based on the time Rick was in the hospital so I'm not sure how much they can do with it. I will say they are doing enough to keep me interested so I'm going to probably watch it to the very end and I may end up loving it.
