I like Emma Stone a lot. I liked a lot of Nathan Fielder's previous work, where a lot of the humor comes from the cringe.
But what we saw of THE CURSE was all cringe and no humor. Every character was unlikeable.
Maybe it gets better? It might be one of those shows you have to stick with for a few episodes. But we disliked episode 1 so much that we turned it off about 2/3 of the way through and watched something else.
I agree there are numerous cringeworthy moments, but I eagerly await each new episode. So much self-delusion and privilege-based assumptions. It's just great.

i Started to turn it off, but i stuck it out.
Does the show get better?
A little bit in Imo, but i think the premise of the show is to not like the husband, wife or the creepy, unethical producer.

Thanks. I might give it another shot once I am caught up on everything else. There have been other shows that did not start out very good that I ended up loving.

So if the point is to hate everyone in the show, what is the point?

I guess its to let the audience know that, all of the characters in show are flawed, broken People.

I concur. That director especially creeps me out.
