Yes, he was the best anchor ever. His delivery was just great.

Also, I like pretty much everything Phil Hartman did.

Chris Farley & David Spade in the skit being the motivational speaker LMAO. Also, Jimmy Fallon & Horatio Sanz, in the skit being Sadam & Bin Laden when Bin Laden was hiding out in the cave - I taped it and watched it 100 times and laughed my ass off every time, and also the skit with Jared’s room, OMG soooooo funnnnny. I love Chris Farley & David Spade together, and Jimmy Fallon & Horatio Sanz together, because they can't control themselves from laughing with each other and that makes it even funnier!!!

Here's one of my favorite Norm MacDonald quotes (not really off topic, is it?) from the Weekend Update desk:

"This week in the former Soviet Union, an American engineer for a San Diego-based company was arrested and charged with spying for the United States. Russian authorities say he was caught attempting to smuggle out their secret formula for alcoholism and despair."

On it's way to becoming a classic is the recent 'Rock of Love' parody

Last I checked there was a not-so-clear copy of it on YouTube.

I remember a skit of We Are The World. I think Adam Sandler was Bruce Springsteen. It was hilarious. But I don't remember much of it though.

And another skit of some band, I can't remember. It had something to do with a cowbell. Anyone remember that?

I think most of the good ones have already been listed, but my favorites are: any of the Celebrity Jeopardy skits, anything with Christopher Walken (More Cowbell, The Continental - "Would you like some champagne?"), Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer, Sprockets ("Touch the monkey!!"), and Deep Thoughts.

I'm sure that there are others, but I'm drawing a blank now. And am I the only one here who really liked Dennis Miller (or even Kevin Nealon - "I'm Kevin Nealon and that's news to me") on Weekend Update?

My fav SNL skit is "Matt Foley motivational speaker"
I have it on tape ...it's availble on youtube

Chris Farley was insanely good ..."living in a van down by the river ...smoking doobies"

Both David Spade and Christina Applegate (playing troubled teens)
had a hard time keeping a straight face

Fav guest: William Shatner in 1986 ...a skit at a Trekkie convention
telling the Trekkie's to get a life and move out of their parents basement
