I am seeing a lot of similarities, some direct, some not so.
Such as cockpit windows of opposing trapazoids with the high point in the center. Such as the control seats being close to the floor. Such as a frame work of braces in a circular pattern. Such as a center ladder to the top. Such as landing access through the direct rear.

Maybe so, maybe they were inspired, maybe they were smart and knew something to draw us oldie von moldies in.
