Apparently, Fios wants us to watch the Murder of Laci Peterson. We don't want to watch it. No interest in watching it. But somehow, Fios decided to make us record it. And because its recording, we can't get to live TV. And we keep trying to cancel the recording, but Fios won't let us. So, we unplugged the box, reset it and ..... there is channel 681 - the Murder of Laci Peterson - still happily recording itself and making us watch it. Finally, finally we were able to stop the recording, delete it and get back to live TV.

We already gave up trying to watch any free TV ON DEMAND because its not worth wrestling with that crazy setup to find anything - but now FIOS seems to be making all our choices for us. At least, we hope its FIOS - and not some random, cybernut trying to warn us ..... or one of us ..... about what happened to Laci .....

so, I'm going to read a book now. I'll have to pop back here to find out what's happening with the TV shows I'd actually be watching, if only Fios would let me.

Uh-ok.

Have you tried rebooting the box? It's a technological panacea.

FiOS is not a company. It's fiber optic service. Do you mean Verizon? Frontier? That's who you should call. Sometimes you need a new box.
