A couple of nights ago was the first episode of "Grown-ish", a spinoff from "Black-ish". Balck-ish is one of the best sitcoms on television today; love the programs.
But "Grown-ish"...I watched it 2 nights after the initial broadcast on the Freeform cable on demand channel. All I could think of was that Walt Disney (ABC and Freeform are owned by Disney/ABC) must be rolling over in his grove. The initial episode included 2 lesbians moving toward sex in a toilet stall. A main character selling drugs. A college student vomiting all over from drinking at a college party. This on a channel designed for 14 years on up.
I'm no prude. Sex and violence in films rarely bothers me. Nor does foul language. (Of course, all of those things can be overdone or, in some cases, pointless).
I'll try a few more episodes, but thus far I'm not impressed.

Seems like a typical Freeform TV show. All that's missing is an inappropriate teacher/student relationship.
If anyone it would be Rev Pat Robinson who demanded that "family" remain in the network name when the social content of its shows changed years before it was finally rebranded as Freeform. Long before the main broadcast networks embraced these themes the offshoot networks aimed at younger viewers had.
Yeah, I agree. Walt would be sickened. The deviation and contrast to his original concept is appalling.
Disney/ABC/ESPN are now just a vehicle to be used for "Social Justice", and to advance the Progressive agenda. Much of network TV, cable TV, and films are like this now. Netflix, Hulu, etc are right there with them. It is difficult to get away from the constant leftist messages trying to mainstream, LGBT, drugs, unrealistic female characters, racial issues, etc. It is no longer entertainment, but propaganda.
What the Left can't do by legislation, and the courts, they do through indoctrination by the Media, and our Educational system.
Speaking of Disney...did you know he made Annette Funicello sign a contract that she would never show her navel even when she did the beach movies? Yep. He did. And she agreed.

He would also be appalled by BOTH political parties and the absolute (power) corruption and impropriety ...
