This is one of the funniest shows I've seen in a long long time. Most of the funny one liners are from the Hormone Monster but the show is really good in general, especially if you're a fan of John Mulaneys humor.
Let add that I am really impressed with what both Amazon and Netflix studios are producing.
I watched it last week or so. As I mentioned in the Netflix topic, I enjoyed it, but it certainly won't be something everyone enjoys.
Well no, certainly not. It's sarcastic, juvenile and highly sexual (as are 99.9% of boys and girls at that age). This show would only appeal to someone with a slightly twisted sense of humor. Like the scene where the Hormone Monster skull f**cks former NPR announcer Garrison Keiller. Definitely not for everyone.
Has anyone here ever heard of Spike & Mikes Sick and Twisted Animation film festival. Not sure if it's still around but there used to be a U.S. tour, ala the Banff Mountain Film Festival. I used to go every year when it came to Tempe, AZ.
For those who haven't seen this yet.. Season 2 is just as good as Season 1 in a different way.
Not enough Duke Ellington would be my only complaint. But we have new characters of Tyler, Depression Kitty, Gina and the Shame Wizard who really steals the season.
Big Mouth was one of those shows that you think you won’t enjoy, but it ends up being funny and well written!
