Same here. I was addicted to it the first three seasons. Then, I just didn't care anymore, and still don't.

Really enjoyed covert affairs and burn notice until it started going dark, more violent less fun - maybe toward the end of season 3 or into season 4 so they lost me and cancelled after 5. I wished they'd just have stayed on the spy story that was more lighthearted and fun with a little humor.
Royal Pains - so sick of a whole year of them planning the wedding and getting married and trying to get pregnant -I couldn't finish watching most of the shows - and pewtered out somewhere around Paige getting together with whats his name - the accountant brother. Same thing seems to be happening now with Murdoch Mysteries - a whole season and more about them wanting children, almost getting a kid, losing one kid, losing another kid - oh my god - enough. The writers get totally thrown by the IDEA of the show - and get bogged down in soap opera like relationships that just ruins the shows.
Most of the new shows now that I won't watch anymore or had to flip channels on - season 11 Dr. Who, will and grace, murphy brown - are because I am sick of writers thinking they can use us as captive audiences for their preachy political views. Meryl Streep did it - and the awards shows lost MILLIONS of viewers. Now the shows are going to start getting cancelled and its too bad because they had so much promise - especially Dr. Who. Imagine being the writer who brings THAT empire down - LOL.
So different shows for different reasons but not necessarily boring. Just falling off the track from what the show was.
We need to start another thread for CANCELLED shows you could have watched another 5 seasons if they stayed on air (and on track).
