The CW on Thursday went on something of a renewal tear, picking up additional seasons of 10 current series — aka nearly its entire lineup. The list of shows confirmed to return for the 2019-20 TV season includes The Flash, Arrow, Riverdale, Supernatural, Supergirl, Black Lightning and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Freshman entries Charmed and Legacies also scored renewals, as did (wait for it) perpetual cellar-dweller Dynasty.

Roswell just started. I guess it's too early to decide on renewal?

It's rare that CW does one season and out. It would have to really bottom out to be canceled.

Good to know. I don't think I've ever watched CW before.

Dynasty benefits from a lucrative international distribution deal with Netflix. It must make a lot for them internationally, since the CW sticks it on the slowest night of the week and does nothing to promote it...and keeps renewing it anyway. I happen to enjoy the show, though it certainly could use tighter, more soapy writing that isn't as "joke-y" and winking to the audience.

My son finds some of the lines entertaining. We actually laugh when they reference older movies or shows.
