cause i seen some on netflix. of course one thing that gets me is people in the shows who are being executed instead of pleading for their lives they should try to fight back against the hitmen and try to kill or injure them. i like yelling at the screen telling them to fight back. Because the hitmen are gonna kill the characters anyway, instead of cowarding. they should fight back and refuse to be killed without a fight.

I have a season of "The Lord of the Skies" (with Carmen Villalobos).

As far as the way people react? SHRUG...no more typical than our Hollywood slasher flicks. I think the best example I've seen of what the OP wants was in the Ken Wahl's flick, "The Soldier" where a ninja attacks him and then, things turn very serious to which the buddy playing the trick on him is "HEY! Wait a minute, take it easy, it's me!"....or something like that.

One thing i have noticed in many Latin american programs is that they seem afraid of empowered women who can stand up for themselves and make their own decisions.

I have watched La Piloto and Casa de los flores on Netflix. In both of them there are strong women figures as well as less strong ones.

I noticed in some of the shows, the guys seem to use sexist language like broads. I been watching Senora Acero. Kinda surprising, considering i think most of the world is becoming more liberal minded.
