Im the opposite of most when it comes to L&S since I prefer to watch the California episodes over the Milwaukee episodes

Default Laverne and Shirley

In the opening titles, why did they say Hasenpfeffer Incorporated? It's a part of their hopscotch thing. I only know it means rabbit stew.

Thank you, I always wondered about that. The company they work for is in fact Shotz Beer.

Penny Marshall was married to Rob Reiner - the meathead.

Where are people getting that Shirley Feeney was supposed to be Italian? ! Both Laverne and Shirley were supposed to be American. The last name Feeney is a Gaelic name, of Scotch or Irish decent. So why would she have had an Italian accent? ?

I've heard these;

*a schlmiel is a person who goes through life dropping/spilling/knocking things over, and the schlemazel is the one they fall on (similar to the OP's).

schlemazel;

* a person who leaves work five minutes early for lunch, goes home and finds the boss in bed with his wife, then gets docked an hours pay for leaving early (from Taxi).

* falls on his his back, and hurts his nose.

* buys a new suit that comes with two pair of pants, then gets a hole in the jacket the very first day he wears it.
