I went to your blog, T'sM, and have to say nice site! I enjoyed it very much. The only thing I didn't read was Eli Stone because I don't follow it but other than that, I liked your take on things.

Thank you, I appreciate that. I started the blog over a month ago so there is a lot of stuff in the archives. If you subscribe you'll get updates whenever I post some new information.

When the fall season starts I plan on keeping my blog readers informed on how the shows are fairing in the ratings.. at least that is one of the things I plan on doing with it. This will help people know what shows are making it and which aren't etc.

Thanks again for reading it. I'm enjoying myself in making it.

Hahaha, priceless! DVR is a powerful thing. However, I have my first DVR rant. Over the past two weeks, the DVR has blacked out several channels twice. The first time, I didn't know what to do, so I did a live chat with Time Warner. We couldn't figure out what the problem was, so we scheduled a tech to come by that next afternoon to see what was wrong. Usually, the techs tell you they'll be there between 3-5 and they end up coming around 6. This time, the tech called at 3, and I was still at work (I teach, and I couldn't leave campus before 3:15). I called back as fast as I could and left a message. The tech never called back and never came to the house. At that point, I just figured if I unplugged the DVR and let it sit for a little while, then that would do the trick. It did. It just happened again today. I don't know if it has something to do with the big digital switch that we just had...the heat...the volume...I dunno. It happens while we're asleep though. It's getting on my nerves! But I still love my DVR!

Yeah.. I hate when that happens.

If Time Warner had a walk in place like Optimum Cable did (on Long Island) you should just be able to walk in and exchange your defective box for a new one.. no tech needed.

Glad that you are checking out my blog.

We live about 5 minutes from the Time Warner office, so if we have any more issues, I think we're going to go switch out our box. It's really not too much of a problem to disconnect it, but our cable bill is over $100 a month (we also have Roadrunner), so why should we have to do it at all, ya know? Someone else had the box before us; when we first got the DVR, we had to cancel several series and shows that were already recorded, so there's no telling how old the box is.

I can't wait to see what you have to say about Big Brother! It's one of my favorite shows! Can't wait for July to get here

Sending some rep points your way!
