Was trying to connect with YouTube via a sony smart blu-ray player we bought 3 years ago--
got message that after April 30 YouTube would not be available on that source--
apparently YouTube is updating its streaming method and some mediums will not be able to upgrade along with it...
Watched the rest of the show I was watching on my Sony blu-ray in the bedroom--this one is newer--bought last year--and got no message--
Don't know how many people watch YouTube -- I am using it currently to watch past searsons of Silent Witness, the BBC forensic mystery series and have watched other UK shows mainly that I can't get on Hulu+.
They are gonna try to force HTML5 which not everyone has HTML5 or wants it!! (HTML5 can be even more intrusive wich is why maybe they are trying to use it)
