Does anyone know if there will be a season 9 of Smallville? I'm hearing more and more that it's likely but nothing definitive.

As a avid fan of Smalliville, and as someone who understands people have to eat,

I'm still going to have to say I hope not......!

It's getting old already....!

Oh I could stand one more season. Even if it's a no flight and tights. It would be a way cool series finale if the final episode has the classic Clark Kent running to save the day, and rips open the shirt to reveal the "S"- then it ends. That would drive the fans into a tizzy....

I agree that would be a good way to end it!

CK... That looks so photoshopped...... (all the color palates don't quite match on the face, teh coat and the background. Even the "S" does not match the clothes....All the lines are too sharp, or too evenly blurry on the edges...)

I DID see an ad on the TV with him zipping around and it looks like he has a cape. This may be the year that he flies/wears a costume. Maybe it is also the season of the Super-Shark.....

Tom will never agree to wear a Superman outfit except from the back and only as a series closing shot. I'm willing to bet that part of his contract stipulates this and he would have been smart to add it since I'm sure that was a large part of what killed Dean Cain's career. As to the other, I'd love to see some of the other comic book characters come to life in Season 9 or even 10, particularly Lori Lemaris.

As if Green Arrow's costume is what he wears in the comic/cartoon?
