I don't know how someone can be so starved for attention that they want to sell what should be one of the most private and serious times in their life with a public who is bound to make fun of them. Haven't they hurt and embarrassed their family/friends enough? I wish them all well....but I just don't think a reality show is the proper arena for overcoming drug abuse.
I think they actually gain fans and those fans are mostly former addicts and 12-steppers themselves who feel kinship with these people and follow them on their websites and twitter. Some fans seem to get overly involved with these "celebrities" lives and worship Dr. Drew. I see it as exploitation of the celebs and fans.
Heidi Fleiss looks terrible, but she seem "real" if that makes any sense. What I kinda dont understand is the whole thing with Tom Sizemore? What is the purpose (besides the dramaticals) of bringing him into the same facility his former girlfriend???? Just icky IMO.
How many seizures have you witnessed? There are many different types of seizures so unless you're a doctor and personally examined the patient you can't say for certain what you saw on TV was real or fake.
I am hooked on this new season totally . I actually feel sorry for these people . Poor Makenzie Phillips was shot up the first time by her Dad , of all people ! and now all this incest stuff coming out too ! What a major scumbag . New show on TONIGHT (thur) 10pm on VH1 . I have been waiting all week .

I hardly ever watch anything VH1 puts out because the majority of it isnt very interesting. However, I am hooked on this show as well. Its very sad yet it sucks you in because of how much of a trainwreck these peopole have turned into. Especially the older crowd.
I hope these celebs use this opportunity to turn their lives around.
