It just goes to say that history is doomed to repeat itself. Hence why we will always have recessions and while on the subject (since Good Times is implied to be set in Cabrini), CHA is doomed to fail it's new "mixed income" properties same way they failed the projects.

Funny ... I watched the movie Network the other night and I had the same thought as the OP on "Good Times" --- things are very similar to the mid '70s right now.

Maybe that's why I'm not big on Good Times anymore because I liike to escape reality when I watch TV not be reminded of what's going on
