Please forgive me if someone started a thread on this show...I hadn't seen one.

Anyway, just came across this show the other night. I can't remember which channel it comes on...TV Land maybe? Anyway, it's like a version of America's Next Top Model, but for women in the 35+ category. I thought it'd be corny, but my s/o told me that it looked like it had potential. I was actually impressed. I was moreso impressed that there is a SEVENTY-TWO YEAR OLD who made the top ten...and she looks good! The younger women got a run for their money!

I'm now a fan of yet another show!

I'm in shock. Nobody watches this show??? I've only seen two episodes, but I'm pleased! It's not as catty as America's Next Top Model, but there's definitely an antagonist or two this season. I hope to convince some of you to sway over to the show too! TV Land at 9:00 on Thursdays!

I've been watching it. The woman I liked backed out of it this past week. I love her carefree attitude. I don't like that some of the women on there are just a bunch of whiney's.

I saw the commercial and planned on watching it but never ended up doing so. I'll try to catch it next week.

You're right. She was a force to be reckoned with. I have a question though--she kept referring to some people or some things as they or them. Do you know what she was talking about? We never caught on to that.

I hope you enjoy it! I never heard of the show until last week. I was quickly impressed. Modeling is all about the young crowd right now, so it's nice to see that they're making an effort to show that women of all ages are just as equipped for the job!

I never noticed she was doing that but the fact that she has such a unique personality impressed me. I'm attracted to unique people.

I watched the first season and have been watching this one as well. As for the one who quit, what was her deal? Did the pressure get to her? She kind of got weird when they went before the judges. And did you see how she dressed for the judges? The bad part about it is she didn't have to quit; she took a really strong picture! I wish the pageant lady and the one who doesn't like her had gone home. While I know they'll stick around for ratings, they both get on my nerves. The pageant lady is always "on". She can't do anything without coming across as acting. The lady who doesn't like her (sorry, I haven't learned their names yet) is always crying, then getting mad if someone says she's going to cry or break down.

I just watched the episode from last week. Shelly took a good group shot, but she didn't take a very good individual photo. Shelly actually thought she was an easy person to work with, but the photographer found her difficult. I think if Shelly would let go of her rivalry with Leann, she would take better pictures. It's amazing to me that the over 35 models are just as catty, if not more so, as the younger models (America's Next Top Model).

I'm not surprised about who went home, but think the wrong person was sent home. I hope she continues on because she's really beautiful. The one who stayed should have left, because she doesn't have the confidence she needs to continue much longer.

I watch but didn't know there was a thread going about it. I watched last season as well. Not sure what happens once they win because I've never seen last year's winner show up on anything.
I don't have a favorite yet. Shelly annoys me now but I liked her at first.
The redhaired girl has potential but won't use it.
The 72 year old blows me away--she's awesome; but won't win
I think I like Robert Verdi more than I like the contestants

Robert Verdi is a hoot! He's one of those guys you love to talk to because you know he's going to say something funny.

Too bad the 72-year-old isn't going win, but I am happy she's made it as far as she has. I didn't think they would give her a chance. DD thinks they were wrong to put her on the trampoline; she thought they should have been concerned about bone breakage.
