Hi guys and gals,
what is up with Puerto Nuevo? I know someone interested in relocating to gthe neighborhood between Plaza Americas and San Patricio, right off Roosevelt Ave. What they really want to know is:

Is there a lot of traffic on Roosevelt Ave. in that area? how much?
Good access to highways to get out of the area?
Lots of people? middle income?low? public housing?
again, its right off roosevelt ave. between palza america and san patricio, in puerto nuevo.
Anything at all about it you can say is much appreciated. Id dont know a thing.

Puerto Nuevo has many areas that flood badly. Make sure that you stay away from those. Other than that, it is very centric, with access to most major highways and thoroughfares. There are also several mass transit options nearby. The houses are mostly low to middle income properties. Nemesio Canales is a major public housing development next to Plaza Las Américas. It can be problematic sometimes.

A poor neighborhood where houses look like concrete bunkers with bars on all windows. Not very intersting at all.

Puerto Nuevo Norte is the area that floods. That is south of the Roosevelt ave.
