So we have a condo booked near Christianstead in the winter this year for a week. We will have a rental car (yes I know about driving on the "other side" lol).
Do you have any suggestions for some fun places to visit?
Great restaurants?
Whatever you think would be interesting, rather than laying around a pool every day?
1. Point Udall - Visit Point Udall at sunrise or sunset. It’s the easternmost point of the USA and is very beautiful.
2. Tide Pools - If you like to hike, hike out to the Tide Pools in Carambola. They are pools formed by rocks along the shore that are filled up when the tide comes in.
3. Buck Island - the little island has lots of natural beauty on land and in the water.
St. Croix has plenty good food from the restaurants to the food trucks. I’ve heard Balter is great. The Terrace at Buccaneer Hotel has a good brunch on weekends. If you like Rasta/ITAL food (vegan), there’s a spot in Frederiksted called Uca’s kitchen that’s awesome. Rowdy Joes is also good. It all depends on what you feel for.
I’m trying to remember places but whenever I’m there I’m on the go. I’ll try to get some more info...
