I really need to know ASAP what the proposed benefits would do for me.

I'm in NY State on my 80th and last week of EB.

If the extension passes, how many more weeks, if any, will I receive?

thanks so much in advance

As far as we know, the discussions do not include adding weeks to the benefits to which you are already entitled. So, for now, the answer is - nothing more than the 13 weeks you have remaining.

99 weeks is lie. Thereare no more 99weeks in NY, there is 93.

we lost 6 weeks of teir 4 because our NY unemployment rate was 8.3%, it neeedsto be 8.5,so we lost 6 weeks.

now, people will lose 20 weeks, because there is no money to pay for EB in NY. so its now only 73 weeks you can collect.

and n other states, its even less, they dont even have a teir 3

do you mean IF the extension isn't passed or even if it is?

When the legislation is extended, NY should resume paying EB.

You have 13 weeks EB remaining. As I posted above, if the legislation extension is passed, you should be eligible to collect your remaining benefits - provided NY unemployment rate doesn't drop below 8%. If unemployment rate drops below 8%, then EB remaining to you would be 6 weeks.

Here is explanation of tiers and triggers:

unemployment

Don't think too far ahead. If legislation passes, you go back on EB to collect either another 6 weeks, or the entire 13 weeks if the NY unemployment trigger rate warrants. Average 3-month unemployment needs to be at least 8% for the final 7 weeks of EB to be paid.

yes but your forgetting from now on the rate will always drop as people max out.
