What used to read 'ALERT, BENEFITS PHASE OUT IN PROGRESS"

Now reads

Alert:
Possible extension of benefits.

I'm trying to read between the lines here but I think they have more insight into what MAY going on behind the scenes than any other source:

Anyhoo, I posted the link for anyone interested in the read.

Possible extension of federal benefits

If the WA Employment Security Department is anything like the CA Employment Development Department, they in fact have considerably less insight into what is actually going on...or even what has already gone on.

Did that come off sounding bitter?

Actually WA ESD has been pretty good at keeping on top of all this stuff over the last 18 months or so

Oh, I think amid all the bluff and bluster and posturing, something will get passed before the recess. Not that WA really knows anymore than we do, but right now everyone is playing a game. The more I see of all this outrage, the more I think it will again be full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. The GOP gets their tax cuts, along with the middle class, and the unemployed their benefits.
