I claimed online for my first unemployment benefits payment on Wednesday, Nov. 9th. I have direct deposit and I know it takes 2 days until it is put in my bank account, but Friday is Veteran's Day, so I assume that I will not get my direct deposit until Monday, Nov. 14th? I am in NJ and my bank is closed tomorrow. Am I wrong?
That's good to know wannabee; I figured since Veteran's Day is a national holiday that my direct deposit wouldn't go through today, but thankfully it did! And they even go through on Thanksgiving and Christmas? Good news! Thanks!
Yea it's BOA. Still no money. I'm wondering if they handle things differently by county? Because I've not gotten deposits on the weekends before and had to wait until Monday, which seems that's what I've got to do this time.

Are you on Tier Benefits? Is it the first certification of that tier?
Chocodile is on the first certification of State Benefits and claimed on a Wednesday as well.
They always tell you to claim on Wednesdays on the first certification of state benefits and each tier. Thereafter odd SSNs file Mondays, and even SSNs file Tuesdays. Any SSN can file Sunday online ONLY.
It doesn't account for your delay, but the Sunday filing will achieve a DD on Tuesday.
I have BOA and my dd comes in the day before holidays it all depends when the bank giving the check to BOA releases it to them, so if they don't release before holidays you will not get it until after, but if they release before they close on the holiday break you will get it before
I claim nj ui state benefits via dd on Sunday, will my Benefits be delayed a day because of mlk day?
