Officials with The Queen Mary in California said the retired ocean liner will be renting out a "notoriously haunted" room for the first time in 30 years.

The cruise liner, since turned into a Long Beach hotel, announced Stateroom B340, which has been featured on shows including SYFY Channel's Ghost Hunters and British series Most Haunted, will be available to guests starting at $499 a night beginning Friday, April 13.

For a really frightening Cruise Ship experience, the "notoriously haunted" room can't compare to the "norovirally infected" room of a moving Cruise Ship.

I stayed on the Queen Mary, and I had my ghost hunting equipment with me. I did catch a few things, fantom music, and fantum smells mostly, also one disembodies voice. I forget the cabin number but it was on the more haunted deck.

Thanks John for posting that link. The Queen Mary is a fascinating ship, I visited it a few years back, and would love to be on a ghost hunting tour of it. The episode of Ghost Hunters onboard was a good one.

When I stayed onboard I also took their ghost tour, which was a complete sham and not worth the money they charge for it, going around on my own with my own equipment was far more rewarding.
