Does anyone know about dreams and interpretation? I rarely dream about my ex.
I had a dream about me and my ex driving through a storm. Basically I was driving and he was riding with me. We were in the country on a back road that was narrow and small only room enough for one car. While we were riding it begins to storm, thunder and it was lightning and it got real dark like a tornado was about to hit. I delivered a package and as we were leaving the road in front of us caved in and branches fell down so we weren't able to move forward. He told me to back up and turn around and we found a different way to the main road. Once we got there the sky was pretty and clear and the storm was a distance behind us. We had to find a different route back to his house that wouldn't take us through the storm. He pulled out the GPS and the route to his house was clear and didn't take us back through the storm but oddly enough there were blanks in the map like you would see the blue line then it will cut off for a small part and then you would see the blue line again as if you didn't know where to go at certain points while taking this route back to his house. Any idea what it could mean?
They said during the day,you may think of something or someone,but you have your daily chores to attend to.
After you go to sleep,your physical body is at rest and you are now free to attend to issues you may not have the time and resources to do during the day.
I think it means that you and your ex could not go forward in your relationship. You said the actual road ahead buckled, and a tree fell and blocked your path. You could not take your relationship with this man forward.
You both tried a work-around, and tried to find a way back to the beginnings of the relationship...but like the old saying says "You can't go home".
I think maybe your subconscious is just confirming to you that your relationship is over, done, not reviveable.
The storm is indicative of turmoil in your relationship, and the road caving in & branches blocking your path indicates that there was no way forward on that particular path, e.g. the way your relationship was before.
The 2nd part of the dream indicates that there could be an alternate path to having a relationship with him again, but it must be on different terms or via a different route so to speak.
Maybe some self-reflection (for both parties) and examining what went wrong previously and then changing & attempting to make it work again? That's something you'll need to discuss with your ex.
