I know it's a little early. But I'm just interested in what people think at the moment?

I believe there are 6 SNP MP's, but it looks like they're about to be joined by many more!

Good. Scotland needs a higher voice! I didn't like the idea of independence. But I love the idea of a changed federal Britain where Scotland, 8 regions of England, Wales and Northern Ireland get to control almost all of of their laws. Westminister should only control:

  • trade and commerce
  • postal and telecommunications services
  • foreign policy taxation census and statistics
  • weights and measures
  • bankruptcy and insolvency
  • quarantine lighthouses, lightships, beacons and buoys
  • fisheries
  • currency (I also think you Scots should be able to use your £'s in England, just like we English can use the English £ in Scotland... I don't understand why you Scots accept English £'s when ignorant Englishman (except me of cause! ) don't accept the Scottish £?! )
  • copyright
  • immigration
  • defence
There needs to be a change in Britain, and it needs to be a federal change! I think I heard Nigel Farage talk about an Australian type federal system... However I will need to look that one up more...

What do you think? Or do you think that Independence was the only way?
