The Fatherland is quite capable of dealing with a million of immigrants who were rather naively invited by Angela who will be reelected just the same. What other problems? I didn't mention France.
The Mother Country (used to be) seems to be unable to deal with a few European immigrants. The British claim they are taking the jobs and homes of poor little citizens and must be deported.
There may not be any negotiations and no BREXIT because May may (sorry about that) be out before the end of March.
Any other subjects you wish to discuss?
How is the weather by the way? A little cool but sunny around here.
The weather has been cool and sunny here too, thanks for asking, it will also likely be a whole lot warmer here this winter than it will be in the frozen hell-hole of a German winter.
Hmm what Americans think doesn't matter. Yet so much we hear is about the UK joining the rest of the Anglo world in solidarity against the French and Germans? Canada is embedded with the USA. Australia is no longer as tied to the UK as it once was, being a Pacific nation, and also having some ties to the USA, another Pacific nation.
So if Americans aren't interested who will be?
Tourism helps London, which voted "remain". How does it help the rest of the UK, which didn't?
Whether Americans are interested or not you can't deny there is an 'Anglo' world that shares popular culture, after all the Americans that aren't interested do seem to be quite interested in our music, TV and film and books, oh I believe they speak our language too. As for the 'tourism' thing if you think that only London gets tourists in the UK then I suggest you might try thinking again, and not just American ones either!
Oh and one more thing if you really think that its all about 'the UK joining the rest of the Anglo world in solidarity against the French and Germans' then you are obviously thinking in a childish way.

81 degrees and sunny thanks very much.
A little warmer than in the most hated country in Europe.I would have thought worldwide humilitation in two world wars might have imbued you with a touch of humility but obviously not.
And how will the British buy these imports as their currency crashes through the floor?
The currency performed worse during the global financial crisis than it does now. The only notable difference has been with the $US dollar. With other currencies of emerging economies during the oil/commodities boom 2006-20014 the £ fared even worse (or more accurately their currencies fared better).
Three years ago the IMF warned that Sterling was 15% overvalued. The recent fall brings it to a very healthy level to have a massive effect on our exports.
Meanwhile,
" The Bank of England yesterday admitted it had been too pessimistic about the UK’s post-Brexit economy as it upgraded forecasts for growth.
In a humiliating U-turn for Governor Mark Carney, the Bank raised forecasts for this year and next – abandoning plans to cut interest rates.
The upward revision for economic growth next year – from the 0.8 per cent forecast in August to 1.4 per cent – was the Bank’s biggest ever. "

Do you actually understand what you are talking about?
