Usually the coercion from the state is much more subtle than this. Anyone from ME was to give their perspective?

Looks pretty reasonable why they want to build it after looking it up.

It's the main route to the Canadian Maritimes, having all trade/traffic go through the city streets to get onto the interstate network is not really a good idea. I can see why the 8 people who are losing their house are upset, but otherwise it seems obvious to build.

While I'm not sure I buy the traffic projections in their traffic study, I'm willing to believe that their numbers are accurate with regards to current traffic levels. In which case the dissenter who's quoted in it is factually wrong about the direction traffic volumes have been going.

National laws using first order of precedence. Operation mode to ultimately upstage any dramatic acts originating out of smaller regional units. How are these declarations made into each country’s own governing institutions? Only political representatives or among regular people civilian population. Probably each equal amount. Variation between macro to micro is mutually significant. Not just one or the other. Establish exact coordinates grip of holding on, and further away mindfulness.
