I would like to see a large green space in downtown Jackson or adjacent to downtown, that would boost property values around it and generate more density along the edges (urban wall). A light rail transit system would be a close second to that as well, with buses still playing a role as well, but better organized and coordinated/centered around the rail system.

I would have to say a nice multi story department store and about 75% less surface parking lots.

Hahaha... the "friggin FAA"... all I can think of is the Family Guy episode where Peter sings about "freakin' FCC."

The FAA/ Logan Airport wouldn't be a problem if it were built on the Northern End of the Financial District (North of Post Office Square), there just haven't been many proposals for tall towers in this area until literally the last few months (though some back in the 80s were scrapped). Ideally, it would be built at the Government Center Garage site (which is moving closer to redevelopment), or in any redevelopment of Government Center/ City Hall Plaza itself as the mass transit and parking needed are already in place. One of the many proposals for the Aquarium Garage is a supertall that would likely be the tallest in the city if completed and it would face little opposition from the FAA because it's not in the way (North End and Boston Harbor Towers residents are a different story).

The only problem runway at Logan is Runway 9/27 which puts planes over South Boston's Seaport area but sites close to the Fort Point Channel (which include where South Station Tower and 115 Winthrop Square are proposed) are on "fringe" territory for the FAA meaning that they will try to have a maximum height here of about 600-800 feet. The closer you get to Government Center, Fanueil Hall, and Post Office square, the higher you can go as you're further away from approach and takeoff routes to/from Runway 9/27.

It would be nice to have a supertall in Boston, but I don't know if the city NEEDS it. The 1,000+ foor proposals for Boston that I've seen so far haven't thrilled me.

Dayton needs everything imaginable. I still think a ginormous theme park east of downtown in the warehouse districts would be awesome, along with an NBA team. Pipe dreams, I guess.

I wish Houston had more homeless people.

And pigeons.

I would like to see pretty much everything and anything downtown here, our downtown sucks, if you are looking for drugs, clubs, strippers, cruising or homeless then downtown is for you.

I would like to see a downtown area similar to what Denver has, we need an arena, grocery store, places to shop, restaurants, maybe some mid-rises and a street car.
