I decided to try to learn
a bit more about Ephraim. Only 2 threads ever with Ephraim in title, both brief and old. But found a few things on internet. Here are some current questions I am working on, if you are knowledgeable about the town:

Anybody with firsthand knowledge of Ephraim Crossing and how viable the components of it appear?

Snow College says total headcount is 6,000 but how many are full-time on campus? I'll dig further on that. I am guessing 2-4k. Not that big a deal right now but curious, with an eye to making a guess at prospects to go to more of a 4 year college in intermediate future.

Any thoughts on Intermountain Healthcare service coverage and / or quality?

Would you guess it is highly likely, probable, up in air or unlikely that the area's recent growth accelerates to make it become a more active satellite to Utah County?

Favorite specific camping or hiking areas? "Best" lakes? Are there a lot of cabins / second homes for residents of SLC and / or Provo metros yet? Level of Airbnb activity? Any old ski areas nearby or new studies?
Recreation center likely or unlikely to happen soon?

Best sources for rentals? "Best" quadrant of city / countryside TO live in? Worst?

Most "needed" new business types?

Surprising pros or cons to the area?

I see some snowfall data. Correct to say moderate 35-40 inch annual snowfall in town?

Any major recent and nearby fires?

I see a lot of development in the valley and down toward Richfield. What can one expect on average driving speeds and road safety?

Any signs of big city gangs using area as a quieter staging area for drug movement?

Any bus or affordable van shuttles to SLC, SLC airport or Provo yet? I assume the answer is no but wondering if there is something "in the weeds" I haven't found yet.

Roughly what is the typical starting pay / hour to get a retail or light / non-technical service employee?

Thanks for any answers. Don't feel a need to strain on questions you aren't comfortable answering. I'll continue to poke around.
