If you were a student at UBC, would you prefer living on campus or close to downtown / Kitsilano area, especially considering you will be working part / full time and having classes at night (6:30 to 9:30 pm)? How is the commute from Kitsilano, Fairview or say, downtown West End to the UBC?

Thanks a lot everybody!

Hey guys, don't be shy and let me know what you think. I don't believe there are no students in Vancouver! Where do you all guys live? For example, you could tell me that living on campus is great because it has a nude beach.

Re: commuting to and from UBC - don't know if this helps but have you heard of the 99 B-line? Check it out, maybe this will give you a better idea of the commuting systems to and from UBC:

99 B-Line - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Have you visited Vancouver yet? It's not a huge city you know. It doesn't take very long to get around.

And yes, there is a clothing optional beach very, very close to UBC.
