Hi,

I read news from TheGlobeAndMail about "anti-HST petition in B.C. have collected 600,000 signatures": B.C. voters must stop ‘dreaded HST,’ federal New Democrats urge - The Globe and Mail, but I do not see anything on Vancouver Sun | Latest Breaking News | Business | Sports | Canada Daily News. If the news at The globe and mail is true, that is a big news, either you like it or not. Why there is nothing about it at Vancouver Sun?

Thanks for your attention.

Perhaps you should contact the editorial department at the Vancouver Sun?

There's still another 4 weeks to go for their anti-HST campaign and they now have 620,000 signatures on the petition. The Sun and Province have been covering it and it's being covered on the local TV news but Canadian media is not getting all hyped up about it. They have already surpassed the required signatures of 10% of registered voters but are aiming for 15%. Give it another month and then see what the news coverage is like.

Here is the CBC's coverage about it from May 28th.

Here is an article from the Vancouver Observer about the possible bleak reality if the HST would get revoked:
