Yesterday I looked at a house. There was a half-grown kitten there, so you can imagine how distracted I got. The kitten wouldn't let anyone pick her up, but she followed us down the basement and seemed to shadow us. There was a part of the basement floor that was dirt. The kitten squatted in that particular way and we knew exactly what she was doing. Uh oh. She confirmed it by scratching at the floor when she got up.

When we came out of the basement we suddenly remembered the kitten. She came upstairs, carrying a large plastic tie (too big to swallow, BTW). She then proceeded to chew on it.

It seems she was having a perfect day, too. But I barely remember the house.

The real reason real estate agents tell you pets shouldn't be at home when prospective buyers tour the house -- just as in show business, they steal the show!

momnh Thanks for that link lol. I had one about paper bags but can't find it at the moment.

OK well I gotta admit...back when I was on rescue sometimes we did non_emergency type transfers for example...if they had a Pet I would find it for sure lol...the crew often had to drag me away asking if I was going with them.
