And unfortunately, just like with EA, a lot of people will yell and scream, then as quickly as possible go buy their next new release, so they won't learn from their mistake.
It's really cold to see Konami completely turn their backs on video games, their global fanbase, and their famed producer who dedicated 30 years of his life to their most popular IP. Since their ban is backed by lawyers, it may be a very long time before we learn if there's any rhyme or reason to Konami's behavior.
Sorry to bring back this thread from the dead but I guess karma bites back, well sort of, from what I saw on that vlog who mentioned then Hideo Kojima was shockingly misidentified as the assassin of Shinzo Abe, and now Kojima Productions is threatening to SUE the media over the fake news.
Knowing Kojima's sense of humor, I hope he won't overuse this in the upcoming Death Stranding 2 as a "running joke" that will pester players via unskippable intrusions every 30-45 seconds...
I'll still play it, though...
