Depends on what inputs you have on each.

There are converters out there for just about every type of input/output but the games don't really look the best on newer tvs. Better off with an older one.

There's actually a board out called "UltraHDMI" that updates it to support 1080p with hdmi output but sold in limited batches currently out of stock everywhere.

Better off just throwing an emulator on a Raspberry Pi in my opinion.

The best the N64 can natively output is S-Video. If you want to play one of the more popular N64 games like Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64 or Ocarina of Time your best bet is probably on the Wii since it outputs in progressive scan (480p) if you have component cables. Don't worry if you don't have a set of component cables for your Wii because you can buy them cheap from Monoprice.

Here's are the N64 games that you can download from the Wii Shop Channel.

The N64 can only output RGB which is a different technology from computer resolution. You need to mod the N64 ( solider iron ) the missing components in order to get the best RGB picture.

There are various examples for this.

Otherwise you will need to use the regular Yellow component or RF ( if your tv has one ). Not much of a difference at. To hook up to a monitor you will need a component to VGA/HDMI adapter.

My N64/PS2 works and looks nice on my display. I mean yeah I can see jaggies but the picture is decent enough. The Dreamcast can output to 640X480 via a cable but some games do not work and makes it pointless to use it as so. Otherwise you will end up investing heavily into the hardware.

You will have better visuals investing in a computer to play N64 games on. You can even hook up the original controllers but I have no idea if the rumble is supported.
