In games like World of Warcraft, when somebody dies IRL, do they do a little funeral for their character in the game or something? Or in Second Life, there could be a virtual graveyard for all the people who croaked IRL.
It would be just like someone on here dying. AAMOF, that happened at another site, wirednewyork, when one of the members was chased into traffic by a small gang of teens....
We had a dedication and helped fix up a small park in his name. We all wore our callsigns and some use their real names, but it was good to see actual physical PEOPLE out commemorating a valued part of the cybernetic society we had built.
Here is a video link of a group of guys who bombed an in game funeral in World of Warcraft. The kid actually died, and these 10 dudes ran in and started kicking everybody's ass during the funeral. Much crap talking ensued. Its funny.
To the topic at hand, my online accounts are the least of my concern when I die. Rita knows what to do, though. She knows the password to every account I have.
