YES, parking at all Metrorail suburban lots, is free on Saturdays and Sundays, and there is usually ample room throughout the day.

http://www.wmata.com As I understand it, parking in advance for "reserved parking" entitles you to park closer to the station entrance than the general spaces, and it also guarantees you a parking space no matter how late in the morning you arrive (as the regular spaces max-out very early on weekday mornings).
