Virginia revokes handgun permit agreement with 25 states | Fox News

This is most definitely not a good idea, if only because it is based on false premises. Basically Herring thinks Va CCL is harder than these other 25 states. That's simply not true as everyone knows VA has the most lax gun laws in the country, and CC permits require a simple online training class.

Many of the states he invalidated have considerably stricter CCL permit process, KEntucky for instance requires class room and range time with instructor.

The other negative consequence is that this opens up other states to start playing games with Virginia residence traveling through their state. Not a good practice which is why it has been respected for years

Since when has a CCL holder committed a mass shooting or any terrorist act for that matter? They haven't.

The Democrats simply want to remove a person's right to self defense. This miss thinking is apparent in many regions. We all must work to stop this way of thinking.

More incremental changes from the bitter governor. I'm sure he was in on this.
No worries; they'll be voted out and we'll put the laws right.

Idiotic. Par for the course for this administration.

This also punishes Virginia residents who just had reciprocity terminated from these 25 states. Their permits won't be honored when traveling through that state now.

This just seems absurd.

I would love to see any Democrat that may have voted for them to contact them and tell them how much they regret it and to vow to never vote Democrat again.

If we all don't fight this, we are only going to keep losing more and more rights.

As Bloomberg's buddy, who donated $2 Million Dollars to McAuliffe's campaign, I am not really surprised on what is going on out there.

Perhaps if the Republican party had allowed the citizens to select their candidates instead of picking who they did we would have a different leadership in the Governors mansion.
