I'd LOVE to have a Tiguan.. I had one recently as a rental while I was in San Antonio, and I loved it..Peppy, good gas mileage, lots of room, comfortable ride.
So much that I was thinking of trading my 12 Mustang GT in for a new GTI
Nice! I was just looking on Cars.com around here and found some really reasonably priced used ones, so, I wonder what the resale is on them? But that sounds like a great deal.. test drive one and see if you like it.
we have a 2012 Tiguan. Car vehicle to drive, but we have had a number of repair issues. If anyone reading this is looking at used Tiguan's, I would look at models from 2013 and beyond as there is an issues with the tensioner in early models (you can Google this).
Anyone here have a new-ish Tiguan? What do you think of it? I'm in the market for an SUV, and they have some pretty incredible deals right now.
I have a 2015 Tiguan R Line - have had NO problems with it whatsoever and have only taken it in for my 10k and 20k services. It's a really fun car. Love the adaptive LEDs. I'm thinking about upgrading to the new Tiguan once the R Line comes out (only because I want the extra features like blind spot assist, 360 aerial cam, keyless trunk open/close, etc). Currently their top trim is the SEL Premium but I want something sportier like the R.

I just bought a 2018 SEL Premium AWD on Sunday.
I haven't owned a VW since 1989 but I am so pleased with how far VWs have come in almost 30 years.
My wife and I are still discovering and learning all the features and loving this vehicle more and more.
We weren't even considering purchasing a Tiguan but once we saw and test-drove it, the decision was no-brainer.
