Cities in Maryland such as (Rockville, Gaithersburg, Frederick, Hagerstown, Bowie, Annapolis, etc.) each have very different populations with different goals for each city. What are some of the plans for the cities you live in or cities you know about? What kind of development will dominate the future of those cities? What kind of development will they focus on in the future:

-urban town center's
-suburban style single family homes
-garden style apartments and traditional town homes
-gridded streets with row homes and high rises
-regular strip shopping center's
-combination of everything
-increased rail transit
-increased bus transit

Will your city try to maintain the current density and preserve the historic charter your city possesses or will they increase density and change the dynamics to a different place? What would you rather they do? Are you excited about the future for your city?

Well, there redoing all of langley park and the crossroads center, that may come in with the purple line. They are planning on tearing out old buildings, pollo campero, some old apts, and redoing the entire area. Pg county has a entire map of what their doing to the takoma/langley crossroads. I really have seen nothing happen, i wonder why.... Economy? Anyway, their also planning on fixing the intersection of new hampshire and university, (believe me i've seen people get hit tons of times crossing that street.) Their working on putting another route to langley park and college park, as well as improving schools etc. Holton lane Is also getting renovated.

Thats my input.
