Hi. We are looking for a place to buy our first home .
I will be stationed at Andrews AFB next month.
My wife is already in Maryland and is currently working near the White Flint Mall. Where is the best place for us to buy a new home?
We don't have any children yet but will be planning to have one in 2 years or so. Also, my wife will try to look for a job near Andrews AFB if possible.
Is Bowie ok? Or should we skip PG county?
We are also looking at Odenton.
Your suggestions will be very helpful.
Thank you in advance.

Although PG County schools have their issues, Bowie has some really good elementary schools (Whitehall, Tulip Grove, Pointer Ridge). I would also suggest Greenbelt. These are two places that are safe, have good elementary schools (or in Greenbelt case a good elementary school) and are decent commutes between the two locations.
