I don't know what to do. I have been working for this two Dentists for the past 10 years. I take care of the whole front office but lately they have been micromanaging the office until the point that they are checking if I am returning phone calls. I don't' think they are doing it because they hate, but i want to quit. My co worker is new and it has been in the office for 3 months besides he is not fully trained. I don't know if I should give then 2 weeks notice or a month or more for them to find someone who can replace me. i feel that they are going to be mad at me either way because they want to control everything in their office. Any suggestions? thank you so much

Find a new job. Don't burn bridges. Move on with your life and hopefully the next job will be better. There's no expectation that you have to stay at your current position forever; they're not going to be mad if you move on (or if they are then they're being absurd, in which case who cares what they think).

Take a deep breath. Start looking for a new job, take your time and don't rush, Then quit. Don't do things in haste while upset or down. Good Luck.

There's plenty of people looking for jobs these days. So, they'll find another person in time. If not, they'll just have to do the work themselves until they hire someone. Since you've been there so long (10 years) I'd give a 3 week notice. Keep it classy because bad karma will follow you. Good luck.
