Does anyone know of any apartments that offer month to month leases in the DC area?

Most leases in the DC area are 1 year, then go month to month. If you are looking for short term deal, basically month to month, the best advice is to look on craigslist. People do offer short term deals for people who are going to be in town for six months or less.

If you find an apartment community you like, call and ask. I'm sure there are many who will work it out.

There are plenty of apartments that will do 3 month or 6 month leases.

I'd stick to Craigslist for short term or subleases. You'll probably pay a ridiculous rate through any apartment complex, and possibly pay move-in/move-out fees, some of which are absurd.

Most of them do but you're going to pay a boat load for one.
