Seems a little conservative, especially since they revised last year’s numbers by roughy 2,000.

If I'm not mistaken last I saw the city was at 693,000 ish last July. So it would have to be at least a 9,000 increase maybe closer to 10k, which was about the same growth rate from 2016-2017.

The Census Bureau revised the 2017 estimate from 693k to 695k. They are assuming slower growth. I can’t wait to see the actual numbers in 2020.

Good stuff. I remember when Mayor Anthony Williams wanted to increase the city population (then under 600K) by 100K+. His vision has been realized and there's no end in sight. He's our most underrated mayor in city history and probably the best one we ever had, at least in the modern era. So much of the turnaround of the last 20 years began under his administration.
